Ashley Ainsworth  •  Artist

Ashley Ainsworth has been painting for over 20 years. She has studied with The Guild in New Jersey, Yale with their Summer Exploration Program, a Florentine atelier, and Boston College. Ashley graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, minoring in Art History.

Ashley’s works are concerned with lineage and memory. She is currently creating pieces with vanitas and memento mori work in mind. The objects representative of late friends relatives and public figures’ lives make us consider their legacy as well as our own. There are as many reactions and feelings to each work as there are people.

An active member of South Coast Artists, she is a regular participant in exhibits in Southern New England.  Ashley works out of her home studio in Tiverton Rhode Island, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
